COURSE DESCRIPTION
The “Child Care Administrator Credential Program” also known as the Texas Director Credential Program is designed to teach potential Child Development Directors basic principles of effectively maintaining a leadership role as a Child Care Director by creating and sustaining an effective organization.
Enrollment Requirements
You must have documented proof of the following:

Age - Must be 21 years old or older

Education- Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Experience- Must have at least two years experience (Please review licensing codes for the specific job you desire; for example, After School Program Director or Child Care Director)›› You can turn in a Resume or letter from a previous employer.

WHO SHOULD ENROLL?
Potential Child Care Directors, Program Administrators, Assistant Directors, Site Directors or Day Care Owners.
What will you learn?
Understanding Roles and Responsibilities, Child Care Essentials, Organizational Management, Fiscal Management, Staff Management, Hiring and Termination of Employees, Facilities Management, Managing Health and Safety Issues, Educational Programming, Family and Community Support, Marketing and Public Relations and Leadership and Advocacy. Minimum Standard Director Training (Teaching Staff How To Comply), Increasing Enrollment Tips, How to handle Unemployment Claims, Managing Labor & Payroll, and more. The program consists of Orientation, Units 1-3, and a Final Assessment.
