HOW TO APPLY TO RENEW YOUR CREDENTIAL?
RENEWING YOUR DIRECTOR CREDENTIAL IS REALLY SIMPLE. YOU WILL NEED TO APPLY FOR A RENEWAL BY SUBMITTING DOCUMENTATION AND TRAINING HOURS.
DID YOU KNOW?
OUR DIRECTOR CREDENTIAL EXPIRE EVERY THREE YEARS, AND YOU CAN RENEW YOUR EXPIRED CREDENTIAL WITH US EVEN IF YOUR ORIGINAL CREDENTIAL IS FROM ANOTER AGENCY.
Renewal information
The documentation & training you need to renew:

Must have the original copy of the expired Credential or soon to be expired Credential;

The expired Credential must be from a recognized Texas Health and Human Service;

The credential cannot be more than one year expired from your expiration date;

Must show proof of 30 clock hours of continuing education, per year of expiration;

Must currently work with young children; and
-
Your CPR and First Aid must be up-to-date.

Step 1: Apply for the renewal (application fee is $100 click here
Step 2: Upload all supportive documents onto your online portal:

Application (digital and available on your account once you complete your purchase)

Copy of expired or soon to be expired credential.

Copy of valid CPR & First Aid Certification
-
90 clock hours (30 hours for each year expired)

Proof you’re currently working (recent paycheck stub/work verification letter)
Step 3: Allow 3-5 business days for processing and receive via USPS or if you're local (Houston and surrounding areas) you can schedule a time to pick up from our corporate office.

RENEWAL ONLY for $100.00 (If you have all your hours and do not need any refresher courses)
(ALERT) What to do if you do not have all of your clock hours?
If you do not have all of your clock hours to renew your Director Credential, please click here and purchase however many clock hours you need to complete.
For Example:

If your credential has expired over three years, you will need to show proof of 90 clock hours

If your credential has expired over two years, you will need to show proof of 60 clock hours
-
If your credential has expired over one year, you will need to show proof of 30 clock hours
