This course equips you with essential emergency response skills, including:

First Aid Basics: Assessing emergencies, ensuring personal safety, and understanding legal considerations.

CPR & AED Use: Performing chest compressions, rescue breaths, and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Choking: Responding to choking incidents in children and adults.

Injury Management: Controlling bleeding, treating burns, fractures, and head, neck, or back injuries.

Sudden Illness: Recognizing and responding to strokes, diabetic emergencies, seizures, and breathing difficulties.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the class? Most sessions run 2–3 hours, depending on format (CPR-only vs. CPR + First Aid) and class size. The exact date/time is shown on the registration page.
Is certification valid for Texas child care licensing? Yes. Our Pediatric CPR, AED, and First Aid training includes a hands-on skills check and meets Texas child care licensing requirements for pediatric CPR/First Aid.
Do I get my card right away? You’ll receive your certificate in your within 24–48 hours after successfully completing the course. Need it sooner for employment? Let us know at check-in and we’ll do our best to expedite.
Can I reschedule if I miss class? Absolutely. Free reschedule with 24+ hours’ notice. If you miss class or cancel inside 24 hours, a no-show/late-change fee may apply. You can move your registration once at no charge; additional changes are subject to availability.
How long is certification valid? Your CPR/First Aid certification is valid for two (2) years from the date of class completion.
